YOUTH SOCCER TRYOUTS IN WINCHESTER, MA
Join SFC: Here's How To Start.
If your player is ready for high-level club soccer north of Boston, you're in the right place.
Joining SFC starts one of two ways: register for tryouts when they're open, or tell us your player is interested any time of year. Either way the next step is short, and a real person on our staff helps you find the right age group.
HOW JOINING WORKS
Three Steps, Start To Finish:

Come Try Out
Players are evaluated over 1-2 sessions by age group. Goalkeepers have keeper-specific sessions built into the tryout.

Start The Process
Register for tryouts when they’re open, or submit a player interest form any time. Both run through PlayMetrics, our registration system.

Get Your Offer And Place
If it’s a fit, you’ll receive an offer and we’ll place your player on the right team for their age and level.
NOT TRYOUT SEASON?
Tell Us You’re Interested
Tryouts run in a short window each spring, but your interest doesn’t have to wait. Submit a player interest form and we’ll reach out with the next opportunity that fits your player’s age group: a tryout, an ID session, or a clinic where you can see the club in action.

What To Expect
SFC is a real commitment, and we’re upfront about it. Teams train year-round, including indoors through the New England winter, and compete in the NAL and NECSL on both the boys’ and girls’ sides. Elite teams train three times a week with games on weekends in season.
Players are expected to honor their commitment to the club, and we support multi-sport athletes and town-soccer players who can do that. On tryout day, come dressed to play, bring a ball and water, and arrive at your check-in time. Goalkeepers will have keeper-specific sessions.
There’s nothing special to prepare. We just want to see how your player moves and competes.
